Flower Scenes - Watercolor

 These two were a series done for my mom. Watercolor and ink. Below is a closeup of #2, including ladybug couple.

Addendum: Previous post info on bottom painting.... So since my schedule changed at work, I now have some free time during the week. And things have settled a bit more for me to think about some things I've been wanting to do for a while. One of those things is the ever popular Illustration Friday. Found here.

This week's challenge I have found is 'Duet'. I did a quick brainstorm, sketch, and quick draw. I have since painted with watercolors and accented with some ink. The following drawing is my product.

I don't feel on par enough to actually enter this into the website. But maybe if I do it enough weeks and get my abilities tuned up, maybe I will. :-)
